Letters Written by My Dutch Grandmother, Vardit (Rosy) Salingar, During WWII (1943–1945) While in Hiding.
This project compiles the deeply personal letters of my Dutch grandmother, who was hidden from the Nazis during World War II. Through her words, the work explores themes of survival, identity, and the emotional landscapes of those in hiding. The accompanying visuals interpret the emotions embedded in her letters, offering both a tribute and a means of connecting with her untold story.
